These Terms of Service govern use of the SPROOVIA website, online store, and custom product inquiries. By using the site, submitting a request, approving a quote, making a payment, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and the policies published on this site. If you do not agree, do not use the service or purchase.

Eligibility and store use

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence and able to enter a binding agreement. You may not use the site or service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized activity, or interfere with the operation or security of the store.

SPROOVIA and project enquiries

SPROOVIA offers custom physical pieces based on original characters and fursonas. The scope and specifications of each project are described in the applicable product listing or confirmed project agreement.

We focus on personal commissions. Open-ended requests are reviewed and quoted individually, starting with your references, the physical piece you have in mind and the details that matter most.

Commission packages and payment

Founding client prices, for commissions quoted by December 31, 2026, start from US$129 for an approximately 10 cm doll, US$199 for an approximately 20 cm doll and US$349 for an approximately 40 cm doll. From January 1, 2027, regular prices start from US$159, US$249 and US$429. Each includes Standard Shipping to the United States, Canada or Australia; shipping to other countries is quoted separately. Starting prices cover a simple design; detailed designs, fursona features and extra details such as hair pieces, heat-resistant fiber hair or body embroidery are quoted higher. We confirm your character details, agreed scope, delivery destination and total before payment. Each package includes Standard Shipping, doll artwork, embroidery layout, the finished doll, an optional internal poseable armature at no extra charge, the included revision rounds, a doll swaddle blanket and one complimentary everyday outfit in your doll’s size, chosen with you before your doll ships. Custom outfits are not included: each is quoted separately, from US$39, made after the doll is finished and shipped together with it. If you cancel a custom outfit before work on it starts, its price is refunded in full; once work on the outfit has started, its price is not refundable for a change of mind. This does not limit remedies for a faulty or non-conforming outfit.

Other sizes and work outside the package scope are quoted separately. Before you pay the balance, we confirm the scope, total price, destination, shipping and tax arrangements, schedule and latest dispatch date. Standard Shipping included in a commission is not subject to the retail outfit free-shipping threshold. Your doll artwork starts with a US$29 design deposit, which covers a design consultation and your doll artwork. The deposit is credited in full toward your doll when you order within 90 days of approving the artwork. It is fully refundable until your first doll artwork is delivered, and non-refundable after that. If you do not go on to order a doll, you receive a watermarked preview of the design; the full artwork file is delivered with the finished doll. No deposit is needed if you already have a complete front-and-back doll design. Once you approve the artwork, we confirm the remaining scope and total, and you pay the balance before embroidery-layout work begins. We do not add unagreed charges to a confirmed order.

A written quote we send you is valid for 14 days. Once you pay, your price is locked. We may update our published prices, but this never affects a quote already sent or an order already paid.

Your references and project permissions

Please provide character artwork, photographs and other references that you own or have permission to use for the requested project. You retain your existing rights in your materials. You give SPROOVIA limited permission to use and adapt the materials as needed to assess, quote, design and fulfil your commission, including sharing necessary materials with the illustrators, embroidery specialists and production partners working on that order. This permission does not transfer ownership of your character or allow us to sell unrelated copies.

We ask for separate permission before publicly displaying your character, project references or finished commission in our portfolio, advertising or social media.

Design services and delivered files

Cotton-doll commissions include up to 3 rounds of customer-requested revisions to the doll artwork and up to 3 rounds to the embroidery layout, within the agreed brief and before approval of each stage. Please group your feedback into each round. Corrections required because we did not follow the agreed requirements do not count toward these limits. Additional in-scope revisions before approval cost US$9.90 for a set of 3 rounds. We confirm which stage they cover and any effect on timing before you purchase them. Changes to the brief or requests after approval require a separate agreement on feasibility, cost and timing; changes are generally unavailable once physical production begins.

If the illustrator is not a suitable fit, we can discuss arranging a different illustrator and any resulting schedule change. Your completed commission includes the final approved doll artwork as a digital file. Embroidery production files are not included. Delivery of a file does not itself transfer third-party intellectual property rights.

Before your doll is sewn together, you also approve the embroidered face panel. Changes at that stage require re-embroidering and cost US$29 per change. If a finished doll does not match the approved designs because of our error, we remake it as described in our refund policy; remakes are not offered for a change of mind.

Change-of-mind cancellation refunds are based on the work actually started. The US$29 design deposit is fully refundable until your first doll artwork is delivered, and non-refundable after that. After you pay the balance, you receive a full refund of the balance before embroidery-layout work begins, or 60% of the balance once embroidery-layout work begins and before physical production. Once you approve both final designs, give the go-ahead and physical production starts, change-of-mind cancellation is unavailable. Product information

Product images, measurements, colors, finishes and descriptions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Screen settings, printing and handmade production may cause reasonable variation. Disclosed variation does not excuse a material failure to meet the agreed requirements.

Order coordination and support

SPROOVIA arranges your order, communicates updates and handles order support directly. Carrier performance and customs decisions may affect delivery estimates, but do not remove our applicable obligations to you.

Promotions

Promotions apply only as stated in the offer. We may end or revise a promotion prospectively and will honor valid promotions already accepted in a confirmed order.

Website content

The site design, copy, graphics, logos, and original content are owned by or licensed to SPROOVIA and may not be copied, resold, or exploited without permission.

Accuracy, site availability, and third-party links

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and update site information. We do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Third-party links and tools are provided for convenience; SPROOVIA is not responsible for third-party sites, content, or separate terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and services are provided on an “as available” basis without implied warranties beyond those that cannot lawfully be excluded. SPROOVIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or lost profits or data, arising from use of the site, third-party conduct, or events outside SPROOVIA’s reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SPROOVIA’s aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid to SPROOVIA for the specific product or service giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Changes, severability, and entire agreement

If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms, the published policies, the accepted quote, and the written order approvals form the agreement for the relevant transaction. We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a revised date; the terms accepted for a confirmed order continue to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed in writing.
